Great introduction book to learn Chinese literature.

 The 3-character Classic (San Zi Jing) has been used as textbook to teach young children for centuries.  It was written in  the 13th century by a renowned Confucian scholar.  It consists a series of 3-character-verse easy for memorization.  The complete text is less than 1200 characters.  Unlike poetry, these verses teach children the Chinese culture and the basis of Confucian morality.
