Baby Learns chinese August 30, 2008 Reviewer: Crysta from Gujan Mestras , Gujan Mestras  France   Great Learning materials. Great video! August 11, 2008 Reviewer: Su Wang from New York, NY United States   This is very similar in style to Little Pim in that they use a combination of cartoon characters in between real video of children in action. I especially like the fact that they circle the object being discussed. I like that it is narrated entirely in Chinese and they use songs for teaching (using the new Chinese words but to common tunes). The Chinese characters can be shown in traditional or simplified Chinese and are large and in red, based on the Doman style of learning. I also like that there are mostly Chinese kids in the video (as opposed to Pims where there are few Asian kids) and many of  the food/fruit in the video are Asian (dumplings, noodies, durian, lychees). Baby Learns Chinese is effective! July 2, 2008 Reviewer: Anonymous person from Toronto, ON Canada   My daughter (25 month old) loves watching Baby Learns Chinese dvds. It's well produced and the songs are very catchy. In fact, we both sing the songs together throughout the day, to reinforce the lessons. It's easy for me, as I have learned Mandarin before. But for the non-Mandarin speaker, I would recommend what we did - starting with Little Pim DVDs to get a taste of daily useful phrases, and add later with Baby Learns Chinese series (builds up vocabulary  - body parts, shapes, counting, animals, etc). My son loves them! June 26, 2008 Reviewer: Su-shien from Az   I bought the Baby Learn Chinese, DVD, Level 1,2,3 & Flashcards and the Little Pim:  Playtime, 3-Pack Bundle a week ago- the package arrived in 3 days, much sooner than I expected.  I've been playing both sets of the DVDs for my son Andrew (20 mo. old) since on a daily basis and he loves them!!   It's great to see him concentrate on the DVD then repeat the sounds that he hears!  I am Taiwanese and speak to him in Mandarin as much as possible now I am happy that the DVD will aid him in learning Mandarin!
