These are quite big cards, but the text is far too small.
(you can see this from the pictures if you look, but I bought them blind)
The pictures are also quite small.
They are OK, nice colours etc, but I wouldn't recommend them particularly. Ours have stayed in the box. That said, I haven't seen any better ones elsewhere.
Not ideal for youg children and beginners, but probably fine for age 10+ who have already learned the basic radical shapes, or adults who find pictures and colours helpful.
The cards are nice quality (not laminated though). One side has English only, the other side has a picture, Chinese character (simplified) and pinyin.
