What Customers Say about Chinese Made Easy Textbooks:
Both my girls have used the Chinese Made Easy Series in their Chinese Conversation class. Good quality book. Nicely illustrated. They don't mind listening to the CD because some parts are rythmic and fun for them.
- MW from San Francisco, Ca.
My daughters (11&13) study Chinese with a tutor. They have used a variety of textbooks. Recently we purchased the Chinese Made Easy, Simplified Characters Level 2 and Level 3. My girls have taken a new interest in their studies because of the interesting manner the subject matter is presented in these textbooks. The TEXTBOOK has color and an appealing layout. The subject matter is taught and reinforced in a variety of ways; matching assignments, read aloud, listening to the recording and chosing the correct answer, fun riddles, true/ false, and answer the questions. Each unit is clearly laid. The sections where the CD is used are cleary marked and the audio enhances the learning. The WORKBOOK gives the student an opportunity to put into practice the words learned in the TEXTBOOK. The workbook does not use pinyin, which pleases the Chinese tutor who does not want the girls relying on pinyin. This is a terrific series. I only wish we had learned of it years ago.
