Chinese Moon Festival and Autumn Festival Calendar:
The Chinese Moon Festival this year will be held on October 3, 2009. Most organizations listed below are celebrating their events on the later part of September and early October.
Have fun and give thanks for all the family's blessings this season by participating in the different community Moon Festivals across the US and Canada. Dress up in Chinese dresses and pants, bring along your moon cakes and moon poems and have fun with your family as autumn starts.

7th Annual Harvest Moon Festival - "Healthy Land, Healthy Community"

The Harvest Moon Festival isn’t only about celebration; one of the goals of Harvest Moon Society is to engage in educational projects that promote sustainable agriculture, the environment and healthy communities. At the festival a number of workshops are offered every year that contribute to this goal in a variety of ways. Workshops are tentatively scheduled and subject to change.
Tickets will be available after August 15th in Winnipeg at Mondragon, Organic Planet, Eat it.ca and in Clearwater at Wallis Grocery and Clearwater Restaurant and in Brandon at Two Farm Kids
