is the most important holiday of the year. In fact, preparation
starts two weeks before the holiday. How do you get ready for
your holidays?

(Note: the book has a lot of illustrations
for understanding. Practice may be required to be able to read the book
while showing the pictures.) (15 minutes)
If you want to turn this lesson into
a small unit of 2-3 lessons, bring in a guest speaker, have examples
of New Year preparations to discuss and display. Practice some of the
traditions in the classroom: cleaning the room, etc. |
