Rocky Mountain Chinese School Summer Cultural Camp

RMCS Summer Cultural Camp July 5-9, 2010

Every year, we offer a summer camp for children ages 5-13. Activities typically include Chinese yo-yo, jump roping, sword fighting and stick movements, traditional drumming, fan dancing, paper folding, Chinese knot-tying, chop-sculpture, and much more. Three experienced teachers are flown in from Taiwan especially for this camp.

Pre- and in-service teachers can take the course – Teaching Chinese: Linguistics, Approaches and Methods – offered in the program to fulfill their degree or professional development requirements. The program offers generous scholarships to cover tuitions and relevant expenses. More courses will be offered in the future.
