Fun topic, new vocab! |

My son (3 yrs old) loves this Bao Bei dvd since it is one of his favorite subjects: birthdays! We learn words for hat, cake, happy birthday etc, following through making a cake (realistically goopy, made by the children) to the actual party. The kids could look happier and more engaged, but my son doesn't seem to mind. The one missing vocab that surprised me is the word for "gift" or "present"!! Instead of giving that, they go through colors (boxes wrapped in colored paper), which is strange. Besides that one gaping lack, this gives a lot of new vocab, a nice relief from the myriad "body parts, counting, colors, shapes" dvds! recommended fun!
