Learning Chinese Textbook, Simplified Characters Beginner Level 2, Practical Chinese Series

Beginner Level 2 uses the pronunciation of Pinyin to teach young native speakers of English who are learning verbal usage in Mandarin.  This book is basically to enforce the verbal and reading abilities.  The various learning activities make learning fun and easy for young learners.  There is a workbook and CD to accompany each textbook level, which can be purchased separately.

Author
The author, Wendy Lin is a New Jersey certified Chinese language teacher who graduated from the National Taiwan Normal University and earned her two master degrees from the United States. She came to the United States in 1983 with a full scholarship and earned her M. Ed the next year from Georgia Southwestern State University. In 1991, Wendy graduated from Baruch College, CUNY and earned her M.S. degree in computer science. Currently, she is tutoring individuals and adoptive families other than writing, and teaching in Chinese school. In her spare time, she writes articles for local medias to share her experience in overseas Chinese education.
