Learning Chinese Textbook, Simplified Characters Level 4, Practical Chinese Series

This book focus on daily conversation.  Various exercises in each chapter related to each learner's life situation are designed to gradually expand the learning from character, to phrase, to sentence, and to paragraph.  The vocabulary used in each chapter context gradually builds up from the previous chapters. The instructions for each character stroke order and oral exercises are also included.  The book contains 171 new characters.

There is a workbook and CD to accompany each textbook level, which can be purchased separately.

Author
The author, Wendy Lin is a New Jersey certified Chinese language teacher who graduated from the National Taiwan Normal University and earned her two master degrees from the United States. She came to the United States in 1983 with a full scholarship and earned her M. Ed the next year from Georgia Southwestern State University. In 1991, Wendy graduated from Baruch College, CUNY and earned her M.S. degree in computer science. Currently, she is tutoring individuals and adoptive families other than writing, and teaching in Chinese school. In her spare time, she writes articles for local medias to share her experience in overseas Chinese education.
