Description   Learning Chinese Textbook, Traditional Characters Level 8, Practical Chinese Series This book allows learners to learn the Chinese language as well as the culture and history.  The vocabulary used in each chapter context gradually builds up from the previous chapters.  The exercises include translating words and sentences.  There is an overall review at the end of each book.  The book contains 143 new characters. She came to the United States in 1983 with a full scholarship and earned her M. Ed the next year from Georgia Southwestern State University. In 1991, Wendy graduated from Baruch College, CUNY and earned her M.S. degree in computer science. Currently, she is tutoring individuals and adoptive families other than writing, and teaching in Chinese school. In her spare time, she writes articles for local medias to share her experience in overseas Chinese education.
