Author
The author, Wendy Lin is a New Jersey certified Chinese language teacher who graduated from the National Taiwan Normal University and earned her two master degrees from the United States. She came to the United States in 1983 with a full scholarship and earned her M. Ed the next year from Georgia Southwestern State University. In 1991, Wendy graduated from Baruch College, CUNY and earned her M.S. degree in computer science. Currently, she is tutoring individuals and adoptive families other than writing, and teaching in Chinese school. In her spare time, she writes articles for local medias to share her experience in overseas Chinese education.

Beginner Level 2 workbook provides various activities to use with the textbook. The various activities in reading and speaking will help expand daily vocabularies especially for younger children. They will find learning the Chinese language is not as difficult as they thought. Textbook and CD accompanied this workbook can be purchased separately.

The workbook exercises are a good supplement to the textbook. I really like the content of the workbook, crossword puzzles, fill in the blank, etc. I was disappointed in the quality of the how the book is made and the fact that there are no answers to the exercises. The textbooks have nice sturdy covers and answers in the back of the book. I expected the same with the textbooks. I even emailed Wendy Lin asking if she had the answers to her workbooks and she said she didn't.
