Let's Sing Mandarin series promotes the learning of Chinese as a second or foreign language through songs.

Singing greatly enhances the learning of a language and is instrumental in engaging all children, resulting in greater language acquisition and production.  Songs are task based and incorporate many other approaches to language teaching including total physical response, inquiry skills, and multiple intelligence.

The songs in this series use familiar nursery rhyme tunes and some catch melodies written by the author, Xiong Huali.  Huali is presently teaching Mandarin at the Singapore American School.
