Monkey King Wreaks Havoc In Heaven

Bilingual in English and Traditional Chinese.

The Monkey King (Sun Wukong) is invited to the Palace of Heaven. He is determined to prove to the Emperor of Heaven that he is more than equal to any of the celestial warriors or ministers. First he trains and fine tunes his own little monkey army, then he sets off to equip himself with his trademark hero’s weapon. Now he is ready for a show-down with the Emperor of Heaven.

Epic battles are fought, and eventually all the lords and ladies of Heaven must run for cover as Monkey King runs amok.

The supreme Buddha is the only one capable of reigning in the rampaging simian -- and he does it with the strangest of wagers.

Following the first book in the series, The Making of Monkey King, this fantastic folktale will give readers another glimpse of one of the world's greatest and funniest legendary heroes.

The story is just the same as what I remembered. The only thing is that it's a little bit long for my daughter who is 5 years old.
