Good collection of songs for younger kids to learn. The English/Chinese ratio is good. Though my kids can sing more of the songs in English vs. Chinese, they do instantly recoginze the tune.

Good but far from perfect |

The good news is my children (5 & 7) like it. The bad news is that the translations are not literal, and not all of the Chinese words are given in pinyin. I have spent many hours in making literal translations of the songs, and some of them are still Greek to me. Also, why on earth would we want French and German songs put into Mandarin?

My 4 year old daughter knew all the english songs then picked up the chinese versions within a few days! The only thing I would change is that the chinese singing is off beat which can get a little annoying.

The songs are in English and (very clearly pronounced) Chinese. The booklet has the Chinese words written out in English form, so this makes it easier for non-Chinese speakers to learn. I really am so happy with this purchase!
