The stories are translated into English for the first time.  From the history of the Warring States Period (770-221 B.C.), the stories are based on actual historical figures and events, and a Chinese opera.   Readers will find the pronunciation guide and glossary very informative and helpful. Great book to learn about Chinese history and culture.  It is one of the first books we ever stocked, highly recommended.
