The 12 Chinese Zodiac signs are rat, ox, tiger, hare, dragon, snake, horse, ram, monkey, rooster, dog, and boar.

The Emperor Of Heaven wants peace and harmony between the humans and the animals. He decides to have a contest to select 12 animals to assist the humans in their daily lives.

This children book has illustration on one page and the text in Traditional Chinese with Bo Po Mo on another page. Pictures are well done and great for younger children to understand the story. Children can also follow the story by listening to the CD.

My son in the 3rd grade did his oral report based on this book. All the students in his class were very interested in the story of the zodiac animals and especially the teacher. Thank you for such wonderful selection of books.
