Fire Bird/Phoenix March 11, 2008 Reviewer: JCR from Monrovia, ca    This is a Russian Folk Tale.  I fell in love with the illustrations to the point that I plan to put the book into a frame and hang on my wall.  A Firebird is another name for a Phoenix, which is found in Chinese folk lore.
