The Mouse Bride

A very nice children story with colorful illustrations that all children will enjoy reading.  The story characters are illustrated in Chinese clothings.

Mouse Father is looking for the mightiest husband for his daughter and interviews Sun, Cloud, Wind, and Wall. The mouse leader is searching for someone strong enough to protect her and the village from the cat. "Are you the strongest being in the world?" the old mouse leader asked Sun, Cloud, Wind, and Wall. The husband he eventually chooses provides the perfect ending to this ancient Chinese folk tale.

Winner of the 1992 Catalonia International Illustrator Award.
