My two year old daughter, Libby, was adopted from China in Sept. 2006. She LOVES reading, but she is particulary drawn to this book. She identifies the main characters as her own mommy and daddy and she thinks the baby at the end is her. She is drawn to the pictures and the story. As Libby's mom, I love this book! After all, our China girls are our very own princesses! Our family will cherish this book always. A note to the author - any chance you can write an adoption book for children adopted from Ethiopia? We are beginning our 2nd. adoption journey - to Ethiopia - and would love for our future daughter to have her own princess story! Our family blog: www.followthefeet.blogspot.com. Our current adoption blog: www.adoptingaria.blogspot.com

My grandmom told me lots of Chinese folk stories when I was small. I don't remember much. I am so happy to find this book so I can tell my daughter the same stories that I enjoyed when I was small.
