VCDs (Video Compact Discs) in Mandarin Chinese
VCDs are common in Taiwan and China. They can be played on computers using the CD Rom Drive and some DVD Players. Not all DVD players can play VCDs.
VCDs are equivalent to the old VHS tapes in quality and can hold up to just over an hour of video. VCDs usually are in Mandarin and don't have sub-titles in English.
However, these videos are treasures so we still have them. Chinese Legendary Heroes, for example, will amuse not just the kids, but the adults as well.
