Chinese New Year - various locations, Chinatown
When: Jan/Feb Website:www.vancouverchinatown.ca
Held on the first Sunday of the Lunar New Year, these celebrations are
understandably extensive given Vancouver's large Chinese population. The
traditional parade in Chinatown is the big draw, but check local press for
other events and don't forget to practice saying 'Gung hay fat choy' to wish
people a prosperous New Year.
