Cheap and Effective Workbook! April 21, 2009
Reviewer: Michelle the La from Auburn WA
I loved this workbook for my students.  It was cheap and effective in introducing characters for the first time.  They caught on fast and got it!  The youngest student reads with total understanding and the parents are having a hard time keeping up (since they don't actually do the homework - themselves.) It doesn't offer too many characters at once and offers several different exercises to reinfo

Good Workbook to Accompany Textbook December 29, 2008

OK but not the best workbook December 12, 2008
Reviewer: Rita Wang from Owings Mills M
The activities are fine but I have many of the same concerns with the workbook as I had with the textbook (content not age-appropriate/relevent stereotypical and offensive pictures).

A good practice book for older kids November 30, 2008
Reviewer: Tish from Union City CA
We used this workbook in tandem with the CD.  I found that my kids 6 & 5 lost interest after it moved from the number section.  Overall It's a good workbook but younger kids might have a hard time following the vocabulary.

Combines traditional characters with Pinyin November 30, 2008
Reviewer: Sandra Chang from Inverness IL U
This is a great combination for my 5 year old daughter who has learned the sound of the ABCs and has listening understanding of the Chinese language.  This workbook goes along well with its text and is fitting for primary grade children.
