Taiwan High Mountain Oolong Tea is one of the best oolong teas in the world.
Taiwan is known to grow superior high quality Oolong Teas, and their culture of
tea. The mountains of Taiwan give the ideal climate for growing tea. The medium
roast has a creamy texture and rich floral taste with a delicate sweetness.
Taiwan’s tea culture is based on Chinese Tea culture, that goes back over 2,000
years. Taiwan is famous for their high quality of Oolong Teas
"Each cup of tea is an imaginary voyage" - Catherine
The high quality of this Taiwan’s oolong tea that is handpicked on a small,
family owned farm with a medium roast gives it a fresh tea smell and can be
brewed multiple times. It is semi-fermented, where the tea leaves are spread
out to dry. This gives the tea more body than a green tea, but less than a
black tea. Oolong tea leaves must be picked at the right age and processed
immediately. It’s been hard to get good Oolong Tea’s in the US.
This Oolong tea is from northern
Taiwan, Pinglin Township near Taipei.
This tea was grown, picked, and processed by a family owned tea
plantation. The tea grower / processor is a relative on my father side,
and they have been growing and processing tea for generations.
This tea is mild and has a fresh sweet
after taste. The tea has a warm light brown color and fresh bouquet
aromas. I really enjoy this type of
fresh relaxing cup of tea.
“Rather without food for three days
than tea for one.” - Ancient Chinese
